This policy explains what personal and health information Trustiva Laboratory (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our website and app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle your information in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account & contact details — your name and mobile number (used for OTP login) and, if you add them, family members you book tests for.
• Booking details — the tests and packages you order, your collection address, chosen slot, and payment status.
• Health information — the samples collected and the test results a pathologist releases as your report.
• Usage information — basic technical data needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

• To take your booking, collect your sample, process it in the lab, and deliver your report.
• To send you updates about your order and report over WhatsApp, SMS or the app.
• To generate an optional plain-language AI summary of your report, at your request.
• To keep records required for quality, accreditation and legal compliance.

How we protect it

Reports are stored encrypted and served only through short-lived, password-protected links — the password is the last four digits of your registered mobile number. Access to your data is restricted to authorised staff on a need-to-know basis, and every staff view of a report is recorded in an audit trail. Login is secured with a one-time password.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the people who need it to serve you — for example the phlebotomist collecting your sample and the pathologist verifying your result — and with service providers (such as payment and messaging partners) strictly to deliver the service, or where the law requires it.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, and withdraw consent for optional features such as AI summaries. To make a request, contact us using the details below. Some records may be retained where retention is required for legal or accreditation reasons.
